Château Laffitte-Carcasset is perfectly located in the Saint-Estèphe appellation, part of the Médoc region on Bordeaux’s Left Bank. The château’s origins trace back to 1781 when Laffitte, the vineyard's owner and a lawyer at the Bordeaux court under Louis XVI, lent his name to the estate. Recognized as a Cru Bourgeois since 1932, Château Laffitte-Carcasset was acquired by the Rousseau family in 2016.

The 35-hectare vineyard lies at the heart of Saint-Estèphe, situated on a gravelly plateau. The estate primarily grows Cabernet Sauvignon, supplemented by Merlot and Cabernet Franc.

Château Laffitte-Carcasset produces wines that embody the Saint-Estèphe style: powerful, elegant, and complex. These reds showcase fruity and floral aromas, with hints of red fruit and violet. The refined tannic structure endows Château Laffitte-Carcasset wines with excellent ageing potential.
