Instructions for Use:

  • To facilitate easy removal of shedding hair, the shorter pins do not have a rounded tip coating. This is not coating damage.
  • Hold the brush lightly between your thumb and index finger. It's convenient to change your grip depending on the direction of movement.
  • Please be careful not to let the pins touch the scalp.
  • Part the fur and gently brush along the coat, starting from the roots and following the direction of the fur. Please untangle any mats gradually.
  • Applying force or brushing the same spot repeatedly may cause the pins to scratch the scalp, so please be cautious.
  • Grooming Indications: It is recommended to brush gently along the coat, starting with areas that the cat is comfortable with, such as the head and neck → back → abdomen → waist and tail → face and legs. Especially, areas behind the ears, the base of the hind legs, under the arms, and the abdomen are prone to tangling.

When a Cat Dislikes Grooming

  • If your cat dislikes brushing, there could be various reasons such as using too much force, touching sensitive areas, or not having built a trusting relationship.
  • For cats that are new to your home and still have a sense of caution, gradually engage in bonding activities and help them become accustomed to being touched. Grooming should be done gently to avoid frightening the cat.
  • Instead of trying to brush the entire body at once, focus on different areas during grooming sessions. After each session, reward the cat with treats or toys to associate grooming with positive experiences.
  • Another effective approach is to brush the cat gently while it's sleeping. If the cat appears to be in pain or discomfort during grooming, consider the possibility of a skin condition and consult a veterinarian.
