Our last Governor of Hong Kong Lord Patten loves Hong Kong commoners’ favourite treat, egg tarts. Likewise, Hong Kong people love Lord Patten for who he is. We imagine that in 1997, he left Hong Kong not on board the royal yacht “Britannia”, but rather on the “Egg Tartnnia”. We are immensely grateful for his continued support and assistance to Hongkongers, even to this day.
Congratulations on Lord Patten’s appointment to the Order of the Garter!
* This painting is being presented to support an art auction and fundraising activities for Hong Kong Watch, a UK registered charity. It got the highest bid at the art auction. All proceeds of this painting will be donated to support the work of this organisation.
